RE:Vision Effects has incorporated new features in its Twixtor and RE:Flex plugins to support Adobe� After Effects� 6.0, the latest version of the award-winning motion graphics and visual effects software product announced this week. These new features make the After Effects plug-in versions of Twixtor and RE:Flex even more intuitive and easy-to-use when working within After Effects 6.0.

Twixtor is RE:Vision Effects’ widely acclaimed product that intelligently slows down, speeds up or changes the frame rate of image sequences. RE:Flex is RE:Vision Effects’ warping and morphing plug-in solution.

RE:Vision Effects provides the following new features for Adobe After Effects 6.0:

Twixtor:

* When in the proper display mode, Twixtor draws After Effects’ shapes used as guiding geometry in the colors chosen in the After Effects user interface.

RE:Flex:

* When in the proper display mode, RE:Flex draws After Effects’ masks in the colors chosen in the After Effects user interface.
* When using RE:Flex, users often create two sets of shapes to control the warping and morphing processes: one for the “source” shape and one for the “destination” shape. In certain modes of the RE:Flex, It can be confusing to have both sets of geometries present on the screen. In After Effects 6.0, users can choose to display only the “source” shapes when working on a source picture or, conversely, draw only the “destination” shapes when working on the destination picture. This option eliminates visual clutter and makes working in RE:Flex much more intuitive.

Twixtor and RE:Flex are available for both Macintosh and Windows. The regular version of Twixtor After Effects plug-in is $329. The After Effects plug-in version so Twixtor Pro and RE:Flex are both $595.00.
