Mac: /Library/OFX/Plugins
Linux: /usr/OFX/Plugins
These are the default locations specified by the specs. Someone can also universally use the environment path defined by the environment variable OFX_PLUGIN_PATH. This is supposed to be searched as well by the host application. Many hosts also supply a special path for their own application. Consult your host user manual for alternative OFX plug-in path location options.
After Effects and Premiere Pro
Currently CC, CC 2014, CC 2015, CC 2017, CC 2018, and CC 2019 all look for plug-ins from same folder. If you are upgrading from a previous major version and the corresponding plug-ins folder below is empty, it means you need to reinstall our plug-ins. https://staging2.revisionfx.com/products/for/after-effects/

/Library/Plug-Ins/FxPlug. From FxPlug (M1/M2), you will find the uninstaller in /Applications/REVisionEffects/PlugName_FxPlug/uninstall/
Avid:
Hosts: Media Composer, Symphony and NewsCutter
Windows: C:/Program Files/Avid/AVX2_Plug-ins
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Avid/AVX2_Plug-ins
Autodesk Sparks:
Hosts: Flame, Flint, Flare, Smoke, Inferno and Burn
For Autodesk 2017 and later versions, the plug-ins most likely will be placed into /opt/Autodesk/sparks by default.
Autodesk Pre-2017 versions: Most commonly in: /usr/discreet/sparks
