Open Effects plug-ins (OFX) Windows: C:/Program Files/Common Files/OFX/Plugins Mac: /Library/OFX/Plugins Linux: /usr/OFX/Plugins These are the default locations specified by the specs. Someone can also universally use the environment path defined by the environment variable OFX_PLUGIN_PATH. This is supposed to be searched as well by the host application. Many hosts also supply a special path for their own application. Consult your host user manual for alternative OFX plug-in path location options.
