RE:Vision Effects, Inc. releases its Video Gogh After Effects Plugin
RE:Vision Effects, a visual effects software company based in San Francisco, CA, announces the Video Gogh After Effects plug-in. The Video Gogh After Effects plug-in transforms pictures and video into painted works of art. Video Gogh is different than other painterly filters on the market because Video Gogh actually tracks objects in movies for an unparalleled smooth result.
The Video Gogh After Effects plug-in makes available many controls not available in the Video Gogh stand-alone application or Video Gogh QuickTime Effect. Features of the After Effects plug-in include 3 styles of brush strokes, variable sized strokes, variable distance between strokes (so that there can be empty space between strokes), and variable translucency of brushes. Of course, all the controls of the brushes may be animated. Furthermore, the Video Gogh After Effects plug-in respects the mask of a layer and paints only in the visible areas.
This plug-in brings the power of Video Gogh technology to After Effects 4.0 or later. This plug-in may also be used with Final Cut Pro and should be compatible with any other application that supports After Effects 4.0 plug-ins.
The Video Gogh After Effects plug-in is available on the Internet at www.revisionfx.com and costs just $89.95. This first release is only available for Macintosh computers. The Video Gogh After Effects comes bundled with the Video Gogh stand-alone application. Owners of the Video Gogh QuickTime Effect can upgrade for $60.00. A demo version may also be downloaded from the RE:Vision Effects, Inc. website, http://www.revisionfx.com.
